This petition is to Remove Mike Duffy from the Senate. He lied and claimed a housing expense and has yet to be charged under the criminal code. The facts as they came out through Canadian media outlets have described Mike Duffy as a long time resident of Ottawa. Yet he applied for a housing allowance and used his cabin in PEI as his primary residence, which he rarely visits. The rules were clear and yet he chose to lie and claim a benefit he was not entitled to. It is hoped that as many Canadians as possible sign this petition and send a strong message to Ottawa and the Conservative governing body. Canadians will not tolerate being victimized by our elected or appointed representatives.
