The board has officially reversed the masking policy. This outcome reflects the persistence of those who refused to accept the status quo and remained committed to our objective.

After attending board meetings where multiple parents spoke out against the mandatory masking policy and emails to the board, they have made it clear that they are aware of the following:

1. Students are being bullied by teachers over masking (I have personal experience and emails with principal from last year if you would like evidence.)

2. Long-term masking poses serious harmful long term physiological, psychological and general health risks.

3. According to data masks are ineffective and provide no protection in contracting the virus, or reducing rate of transmission.

4. Schools with masking policies had almost identical rates of cases as those without mask policies

5. According to data risk of asymptomatic spread is less than 1%.

Despite being aware of all of this, the Board's concern and focus is and will remain to be attendance and quarantine rates, instead of the overall well-being of the children in their district.

Since they have made it clear that their concern is not the children, I am asking you to sign this petition to remove board members Kevin Schartner, Peggy Hassler, Tori Behlke, Larry Felton, Patrick McKelvey, Jean Pretto, and Jeff Wolman, who all voted to uphold the mandatory masking of our children without our consent at the last board meeting.

This would allow us to elect a board of education that cares about the kids, their health and well-being, and allow parents to make these important health decisions that ultimately should be up to parents/families not the board.

Requirement of the petition to be valid is you must live in the school district, so your street address is required for those purposes only.

Once we have received the required amount of signatures I will file the petition with the Board of Election Authority and the Secretary of the district of board of education.

Once the petition is filed with the Board of election authority, it has 30 days to examine the petition and start the process of recalling/removing the board.

Parents need more of a say when it comes to the education and implementation of policies for our children.

They are refusing to follow a direct order from the courts and the AG for the state of Missouri. I no longer trust you with my children. Resign now!

Science does not support masking kids. It’s causing severe mental and physical issues.

That is NOT ok. The music teacher at Rogers was telling kids if they weren’t wearing their mask properly they owed her $5. Told the 1st graders she would take away recess when one of them said they didn’t want to pay her, and went as far as keeping a list on the board of the children who weren’t complying and owed her. - these kids were coming from PE where they were running around masked and were pulling the masks down so they could breathe.

Jefferson County schools have made masking optional and have been very successful.

Masks as well as vaccines should be a parents choice. A publicly funded school has no right to mandate or require health decisions of children. That’s the parents right.
