Petition to remove inappropriate content from children’s department at naugatuck Public library

This book is not age appropriate for children. These kinds of things should be discussed by a parent/guardian and not “stummbled” upon in a public library with “kid-friendly” books.

This is crazy for any child under the age of 10 and that’s even pushing it.

I would love to hear the rationale for why anyone would consider this to be age appropriate content for young children. It is deeply unsettling that this apparently has enough support to not be immediately removed upon the initial complaint being made by a concerned parent. Frankly, I have questions for whoever’s idea it was to purchase this book and make it available to our kids in the first place.

Very perverted and extremely inappropriate, especially for toddlers/young children. I am appalled and disappointed that this book was ever made available to our children in the first place, and even more so that it remains available after parents voiced their concerns to the staff.
