Unit 814. There is no justification for the additional fees. There is no evidence that renters use amenities with more frequency or differently than owners living in the building. Therefore, any purported justification for the fee on renters would have to be based on reasoning that would equally apply to owners living in the building, who are not being charges a similar yearly fee. This seems like an unwarranted way to raise money for items that should be covered by the HOA fees.

I’d be interested in an accounting of funds already collected.
But definitely agree these are unnecessary and punitive fees.

100% oppose these fees. There is no justification. Purely an attempt to gather additional funds and punish owners who rent.
