As Catholics we are deeply concerned that Catholic Schools in Northeast Wisconsin have adopted Common Core. We respectfully petition Most Rev. Bishop David Ricken, Catholic School Principals, and Catholic School System Administrators in Northeast Wisconsin to remove Common Core from its schools.

I am currently compiling a formal request for a meeting with diocesan administrators to discuss the specific alignment of current curricula with Catholic educational philosophy. My focus is on presenting a structured analysis of why these standards should be replaced to ensure our schools maintain their distinct mission.

Finally someone is saying something about this. It is about time we focus on real education instead of these federal mandates.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS SHOULD BE CATHOLIC. stop letting the government tell our schools what to teach!!!
It is just way to political for our kids. Too much testing and not enough actual learning.
My grand kids are struggling so much more now. They used to love school but now it is just frustration every night.
Keep our schools Catholic please. This curriculum has no place in our classrooms.

Common core is nothing but a headache for the kids and it ruins how math is taught. get it out of here.
