The small minority of self-righteous, utopian city politicians including Councillor Morley have done their best to seriously degrade the overall quality of this City. The problem is multi-dimensional. Simple minded exuberance and an exaggerated sense of what bikes can actually accomplish to reduce gridlock is secondary to the real reason they are being built: they are trendy, the City has control over them, they are cheap/quick to build. The answer is better transportation infrastructure. No shortcuts, look at all other true world class cities. Province is dead right to step in and control the madness.

I strongly believe that The bike lanes causing more harm than good. Traffic is constantly backed up on Bloor Street and cars cutting through side streets in the neighborhood.

2 % of people cannot dictate what they want. I live near yonge st. The traffic is horrible. What used to takes a few minutes.. takes 15 to 20. Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr does anyone see bikes. I don't. Just red brake lights and pollution.

Please ensure that plans for a complete street on DuPont get stopped for review. It is the only
midtown option for drivers who need to cross the city. Bloor Street and St. Clair Avenue are already single lane routes and are often closed for marathons, construction. We are already trapped by Yonge Street and Avenue Road congestion most of the day and DuPont is our only option for escaping the midtown area and getting to our destinations.

It is good the province is getting involved. Morley and the city officials will not remove them under any circumstances - data doesn't matter to them.

For the safety of all, move bike lanes off arterial roads and stop wasting tax dollars clearing bike lanes in winter and spend more clearing sidewalks.

I fully agree that the bike lanes need a total revision and should be where bikes are highly used. The downtown core makes sense but not in the suburbs.

Our residential street has become so dangerous with speeding cars that are trying to get around the standstill on Bloor because of the damn empty bike lines!!

Talk about putting the cart before the horse!
Provincial Gov. should have been involved before the bike lanes were installed on major city arteries.

The bike lane situation in Toronto is out of control. Please insure the proposed bike lane on The Esplanade from Yonge to Jarvis is reviewed. A lane on this section of the street will cause chaos and hardships for businesses and residents

No room for emergency vehicles. They are causing utter chaos. Very little use of these bike lanes. I have not talked to one resident who supports these bike lanes.

Remove bike lanes on Bloor st. It is very dangerous. Our roads are not built to accommodate cars and bikes. Too dangerous . Bikes always lose in a collisions. See how Europe accommodates them.

I bike, I run, I take transit. I hate driving, but driving is a necessary evil. How can vehicles stuck in traffic, idling, because of bike lanes taking up a whole lane, be a good thing? End the insanity.

Bake lanes on Bloor has led to increased traffic on residential streets putting our neighborhood children at increased risk. This was a poor decision.
