There must be a better way to keep all people in the city moving in the best ways for young and old.

Bike lanes are slowing traffic and that is adding to pollution.

Thank you for keeping our street usable. There is no city with no streets.

I stopped shopping on bloor, due to congestion, lack of parking (I have mobility issues) and impeded access to shops . Why are bike riders more important then people with mobility issues

Yonge Street bike lanes from St Clair to Bloor is a traffic nightmare. Nothing is positive about this decision. We as a community have consistently complained but no one is listening until now.

I am a avid cyclist, but using main traffic arteries for bike lanes is ridiculous, there are many alternatives. Further the elderly, young families and the infirm can NOT cycle, they need automotive access. 416-804-6720

my councillor, dianne sax, can't even be bothered responding to an email suggesting a public neighborhood forum to discuss the issue - shameful.

Living just off Yonge on Roxborough Street West, bike lanes have made my daily excursions impossible. Yonge Street is my high street, where I shop, and how I access my house. I can often not go anywhere due to traffic jams. Also, commuters up and down Yonge spill onto Roxborough Street west out of frustration, and our residential street is often clogged from Yonge to Avenue Rd. If Yonge was a functional road, as it was before the bike lanes were introduced, they would stay on it. A bike lane traffic study, I am positive, will show that the bike lanes are seriously underused. The majority of vehicles using the lanes are scooters, electric bikes, and food delivery, going dangerously fast, and actually making it quite unsafe for bicyclists. The design of the bike lanes is dangerous enough to begin with, with blind spots due to separation and cafe toronto. Proper traffic planners should review this situation.

We need more thought and uniformity into bike lanes. Scooters and bikes etc should be licenced and obey traffic rules.

Biking needs quite a bit of certification . Bicycle lighting should be mandatory . Road rules should be enforced . As a driver it is difficult to manage all the reckless activity .

Get the restaurants off the road as well. They were a COVID measure but has become a permanent feature. The City of Toronto is profiting from us on top of taxation.

We live near Yonge St between Bloor and St Clair, once a pretty and ‘safe’ part of the city. Not anymore. The side streets are clogged with motorists inching ahead, trying to get in or out of town. Cyclists, mostly e-bikes actually, race thru the area without any regard for the rules of the road and when inconvenient, do the same on sidewalks thumbing their nose at pedestrians and cars alike. The streets themselves are adorned with all manor of crap; new (sometimes painted) curbs, plastic pegs sticking out of the ground and new lines everywhere that are more confusing than useful. To say nothing of how much longer it must take for emergency vehicles to get thru the area, when seconds matter. This mess is replicated all over the core of the city and MUST be rationalized. A few bike lines, sure, but not on every once useful major artery. The city has become almost inhabitable. Jay Gould.

Toronto is not in Florida or Arizona. We have something called winter. The only people on bikes/electric bikes from November to April are DoorDash delivery guys. I live very close to Yonge and I know this firsthand. And what do bike lanes produce??? More air pollution from seriously stalled traffic. This started with John Tory and is now being carried on by Olivia Chow. The city has become a nightmare thanks to our erstwhile politicians.
