I am a cyclist and have used secondary bike lanes effectively for 20 years. Bike lanes should not ever be on major arteries for the safety of cyclists and for congestion.

Yonge street bike lanes are vastly underused and have created horrendous congestion on Yonge including for EMS

Bike Lanes on side streets not major arteries. We arent Amsterdam, we are market 4 in North America and motor vehicles are by far the primary method of transportation. Special interest groups dont run the city, the MAJORITY of citizens do.

My business is on Bloor & Lippincott and it is VERY dangerous at this corner. Cars cant turn because bikes are going so fast you can't see them coming. we've lost business due to lack of parking on the street and sheer chaos in the area keeps people away. also the green P has reduced spaces by a LOT! to make room for green cars and bikes so customers are constantly circling in the traffic and honking horns due to lack of parking and safe driving

Bikes do not belong on the main streets. Smaller, residential streets are safer for bicyclists.

I am an almost daily cyclist and I don't believe the City of Toronto has executed a thoughtful and balanced approach to bike lanes in Toronto.

Bike lanes should be removed in the bloor west village. There had been such a gridlock of traffic and unbelievable. Hardly any bikers. It has angered the vendors who are fed up. I avoid driving on bloor and take side streets. The City should have done a test run before installing permanently bike lanes. It has created more pollution and the polls paint as bd concrete blocks was a waste of our tax money. It’s time to remove them!!

Getting bikes off arterial roads will also save lives. Look at how many cyclists deaths there have been since there were bike lanes in downtown Toronto.

Bring some forethought to the bike lane discussions-safety yes but not at increased congestion particularly with new condos expected to be built along Bloor St

Bike lanes are a good thing but not on arterial roads. I live close to Yonge in the Summerhill area and it's obvious that there are relatively few riders on the bike lanes. The majority of those riders appear to be Uber delivery people. It is possible taht over time there could be more riders, but, we've already had more than 2 years since the lane s have been created on Yonge nad there has not been taht significant a rise in ridership. There are also natural limits to the eventual usage given the nature of the city. We're not Amsterdam in that a) the city sprawls; b) we have something called winter; and, c) we don't have the public transit system that would provide the ubiquitous and reliable alternative to the car (unfortunately)
