Enough of the catering to the minority groups that don’t offer anything to the neighborhoods they are ruining.

The section of bike lanes from Prince Edward Dr. west to Islington is the most AGGRAVATING stretch.
The most potentially-hazardous stretch is east to Bathurst...I spent almost an hour getting an elderly friend to their appointment at Western Hospital (from Royal York Road!!)...
Major arterial roads need to be kept free of bike lanes for safety!

Sadly we live in a country where winter lasts longer than summer. Bike lanes are a luxury we cannot afford if we wish to keep industry & commerce growing. For the small number of cyclists using these lanes it is an extravagance that is prohibitive.

The benefit of bike lanes for the very few who use them seasonally is a massive waste of money. There is a financial cost to build them and the human cost to the added congestion in a city that is growing well beyond what was ever expected.

Besides the bike lane , pedestrians at traffic lights should also be review.
A light for them should be install with limit of time just like drivers.
We all have the same right to the road , but keep in mind that drivers pay taxes for these roads but not the pedestrians.
That change would make a huge difference to speed up the traffic

I'm in complete agreement.
The Bike lanes on Bloor ST West have been a complete disaster, making car traffic trips double in time while allowing the very few actual biker's who use the lanes a more reliable and safer route. This is a huge price for everyone to pay for a very few select bike riders. Stop the madness, make the city run for everyone. Maybe if they had built a subway system in the last 40 years it could have lessen the amount of cars on the road.

These bike lanes not only make our City impossible to get around in, they are also making it look very unappealing. It is very disheartening to walk along Bloor street and see all the signs, reflectors, cement blocks and obstructions that delineate the bike lanes. The City is grinding to a halt which is hurting businesses, commuters and residents and its looking ugly. Gord Perks is fuming that his proposal for bike lanes on Parkside Drive (another arterial street) might be going down the drain even though most local residents were against it. I am hoping that his proposal is axed. They should also make bikers more responsible for their safety such as policing that they have proper lights, and are knowledgeable of and obey traffic laws and traffic lights. They should also have a license to be on the road. Thank you on behalf of all Toronto residents.

The bike lanes in Bloorwest village make it more dangerous for all users, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. Also travel for emergency vehicles is impeded and problematic.

Bike lanes in Bloor West Village are a nightmare! It’s so difficult to get through traffic and parking is impossible. Cars on one side and bikes on the other. Very unsafe for everyone and not many people use the bike lanes. Where is the snow going to go? Money clearing bike lanes that aren’t used? And High Park has been negatively affected too.

Please continue with this proposal to remove bike lanes from arterial streets and roads. Among other things, they slow emergency vehicles down. Normal vehicles have no way to get out of the way.

There are far too few bikes using these bike lanes they are a hazard to pedestrians and are only useful for a few months of the year prior to freezing conditions when no one rides bikes. Very poor use of taxpayer dollars in my opinion.

PLEASE REMOVE ASAP. I literally watch firemen getting off the truck on a call to direct traffic to get through the Danforth! That is some ones life hanging in the limbs!
Its horrible and the majority of people using them are the horrible ebikes doing 30 KM plus. DANGEROUS

100% support. Bike lanes are not effectively utilized, there is no regulation and traffic is at an absolute standstill most days creating idling. It is complete chaos in our area and on Yonge St, all cross streets, Avenue Rd etc. We are not a flat city and we have cold winters. Bike lanes are not for motorized vehicles which are not held accountable to the law. The city is in crisis - gridlock, homelessness, drug abuse, turning a blind eye to getting anything done. We want to encourage businesses in Toronto
