Traffic on Bloor is insane. Right turns are also so dangerous.

Very happy to see this. Bike lines only add to traffic gridlock.
We know of a business on Yonge St. who couldn’t get the deliveries because of the bike lanes so business closed and moved to Oakville.. You never see many people in the lanes anyway…..

Feel for the First Responders and TTC Drivers trying to manoeuvre their vehicles and especially in the event of an emergency. Stressful trying to pull over when there’s nowhere to go.
Fed up with cyclists running through red lights and stop signs and weaving through traffic. You know we have a problem when Tom Cruise and Will Ferrell voice their opinions and I’m glad they did.

Bloor bike lanes have increased traffic congestion leading to blocked intersections and increased risk to pedestrians

Toronto is not Copenhagen. Most of the time the lanes are empty especially bayview extension.

Living in a high rise with a view of Yonge St.- I continually see the difficulty that emergency vehicles have in navigated streets that are chocked by dedicated bike lanes.

We are in full agreement with this petition. The congestion caused by the bike lanes on Yonge St. has become untenable. We applaud your work on this effort!

Can't wait to see sanity back on our main streets like Yonge St. that literally separates Toronto East toWest!!!
And Bloor St.? And University Ave that goes all the way to the congested Gardener? ALL ONE LANE? Which city that has such a significant distance grid people have to navigate every day, a subway system that hardly serves/covers those distances (let alone no way for the elderly to access elevators) would compromise trafic circulation for a comparativly small number of able adults to use privileged lanes on major urban artaries. When number of bicycle users, and excluding the present day motorized bikes which make use of the special lanes, reach the number of bicycle users in cities like Paris and Berlin, perhaps and only then, we can revisit our bicycle riders' presence on our major roads. Until then, please, let's bring some sanity/proper urban circulation/planning to an already congested city due to population growth. P.S. My husband rides his bike to work every day.
