Bloor, university and Yonge street are the 3 most important arteries in the city of Toronto. These bike lanes are a ridiculous impediment to traffic flow and faster transit times. Get rid of these bike lanes now,

We need to do what is best for all of Toronto. Not what is best for a loud lobby group of cyclists using bad fixed information. Stop listening to the loud minority. There is room for bicyclists downtown (TO) and on side roads (suburbs). Get off the main thoroughfares. In Bloor west there are very few bikes anyway, some fast scooters and they are illegal in Toronto. Also the effect on traffic lights is weird. At Bloor W and Old Mill there are so many signal lights it is confusing.

I use the bike lanes and they protect me from getting hit by cars. We should be getting more cars OFF the streets not making room for more.

Bike lane is creating traffic and we have long winter why we need this? Half of time i don't see user.but traffic. This is unbelievable especially Bloor west.

My elderly mother lives in Bloor West and I fear the day she can't get an ambulance in time. "Saving lives" should count for her just as much as the cyclists - who have the option of riding a street up or down.

Danforth Ave and Woodbine Ave were once efficient roads routing traffic through the city cleanly. Since bike lanes were installed, both roads have become completely dysfunctional with car congestion at all times of the day and comparatively negligible bike lane usage. The dedicated bike lanes have removed two full lanes of traffic thereby bottlenecking both major arteries. The result has been a significant increase in idling times and pollution in our city which has negatively impacted air quality and public health.

I agree, bike lanes cause too much congestion on the roads. Some Make sense but most are so dangerous ans put people at risk. The cyclist have no shame they dont follow the rules

I have been injured twice by the concrete barriers exiting my vehicle on the passenger side of the car between bike lanes and parking spaces. I now require hip replacement surgery because of these 2 falls over the barriers. Whho should I sue? It is impossible to dispatch my disabled family members on the bike lane side because of these barriers. On the drivers side you can only get out of the car into the live traffic lane. Again, impossible to dispatch a disabled person, unsafe for me and terrifying if you have a child or elderly person. Parking spaces have been so reduced that we cannot access services on where there are bike lanes because of concrete barriers and danger from cyclists in the bike lanes. This forces us onto residential streets (which is unsafe for residents) and requires parking at long distances which is prohibitive for myself (can't walk far) and for my disabled family members who I have to push in a wheelchair. The bike lanes are protected and appear wider than the extremely limited parking lanes - so where is the protection for me and my family? Businesses disappear due to lack of access. Emergency vehicles are hard delayed. High Park is now inaccessible to my family. Bike infrastructure goes ahead including ramps, weed filled planters, restrictive turn lanes forcing traffic that doesn't belong into residential streets, circling to get to a destination on an artery but having to drive around because the intersection has no turns. More congestion, more emission pollution, reduced safety for pedestrians. Cyclists do not follow the rules of the road. If I am in the right turn position, the cyclist barrelling on from three blocks away, kicks my car because they don't know or care that they should yield and take their turn. I grew up in this city, using every form of transportation when everyone was required to share the road and take turns. This administration has given elitist, abelist privileges to bicycles and disenfranch

Toronto councilors are insane how they plan where these bike lanes go.

Sadly the biking lobby stretches the truth and sadly forget to mention that perhaps quite of few bike accidents are caused by cyclists not following the rules of the road. And how many pedestrian have been injured by cyclists??? I know a few.

Remove millicent street bike lanes it's causing fights between neighbors and bikers and there are no parking spots for home owners or handicap permitted viachles

Traffic is so congested in the downtown area and so frustrating to see bike lanes that are virtually empty.

Fully support this. Cyclist do not need to be on main arteries and they do not follow the rules of the road. They should be required to licensed and take a bike course to be able to ride on city streets.

Sitting in traffic looking at an empty bike lane is infuriating. If cyclists want to get around they can use the public transit we offer. There's racks on busses. Stop deleting lanes for rarely used bike lanes.

Terrible for business and traffic. I understand the scope has change too, making it unsafe for drivers, pedestrians and bikers alike.

If cyclists want to have dedicated bike lanes, they should register their bikes & pay for a licence just like motorists do to access public roads. This also puts $$ into govt coffers and adds accountability to these cyclists!
