With the most recent update to Niantic Lab's popular augmented reality game, Ingress, a new badge was added. That badge adds nothing of value to the game as a whole and instead encourages players to create alternate accounts in order to fake the badge.

We petition that all players who support Niantic's decision to input this badge be removed from the game permanently. Especially jblade.
