We, the undersigned, fervently request and advocate for the resumption of direct flights from Singapore to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We believe that reinstating this route holds immense value for a multitude of reasons:

Uttar Pradesh, with a staggering population of approximately 24 crore, stands as India's most populous state. It is home to renowned religious destinations such as Varanasi and Ayodhya. Additionally, the capital city of Lucknow is celebrated for its rich culture and diverse culinary offerings. Currently, there are no direct flights connecting Singapore to any part of Uttar Pradesh, and we believe this route would not only meet the travel needs of the local population based in Singapore but also attract tourists seeking to explore the cultural and religious tapestry of the region.
- Time Efficiency and Convenience:
Traveling to Lucknow from Singapore presently involves an exhausting journey lasting over 10 hours due to long layovers and suboptimal flight connections. Despite the short effective distance that can be covered in less than 5 hours, the lack of direct flights hampers efficiency. Reinstating direct flights would significantly reduce travel time, providing a more convenient and expedient option for travelers, whether for business or leisure.
- Demonstrated Market Demand: It is my belief that there is a substantial and untapped market for direct flights between Singapore and Lucknow. Large number of non-resident Indians living in Singapore are from UP , of which Lucknow is the capital . This will ease travel for us to our ancestral homes and saves time . Not forgetting that UP has many travel sites of historical significance .
Eagerly waiting for the start I am a senior citizen and find very difficult to wait and change the flight Will be extremely happy with the direct flight from Lucknow to Singapore
We used to take the Scoot direct flight to Lucknow regularly and it is very inconvenient now that it's no longer operational. If there are flights to Amritsar, Trivandrum, Coimbatore then why not Lucknow. It will service a big travel segment from N.India
Our sick parents in Lucknow need our attention regularly. We used to be frequent travelers of the direct Scoot flight as it was so convenient. Please bring it back
Our upcoming upgraded airport can competently handle flight traffic. Diaspora from central and eastern U.P. will ensure profitability of the flights. As will the no.of Tourists who perennially visit Singapore. Also need for ease of commerce and doing business.
Need this connection. There is no direct flight form Singapore which really goes to the central, north eastern India. The most populous states of India have no direct connectivity and people need to waste at least 4 to 6 hours to make a connection from other metropolitans. Lucknow airport has come a long way in terms of international flight handling capability.

The magnitude of Lucknow has increased manyfold since this flight was stopped during Covid. The weak demand logic should no longer be valid.
