As a producer of educational programming, I know it is a moral imperative that residents have access to educational media. Time to stand up, be heard, and be noticed!

Keep Channel Albany alive!

Having Channel Albany inactive and off air is sad and unacceptable. Our community needs their public access channel for so many reasons. One in particular is for creative and cultural output and expression. I co-run a show on Channel Albany that involves a large variety of local (and beyond) artists who make music and videos. It's exciting for this collection of various visuals, sounds, and more to broadcast and add culture to our interesting and diverse community. To showcase and inspire within a medium beyond just throwing more content on social media and the web. I really hope this gets resolved, and quickly, so I and the many of us who love this channel and community can have our public access back! Thank you!

The city of Albany is DEMANDING to see the MEDIA ZONE back on this station!!!

- isn't the Public Access Television station and equipment, a part of the FCC requirement, that the cable provider agreed to, and as a part of the agreement they have within the community in which they function. The local cable company is a Massive operation, large building space, and with HUGE amounts of revenue. "Money". I"m pretty sure they have the financial ability to Honor their contract/agreement with the FCC and the City of Albany.

Capital of Albany should have an active PEG.

Please put PEG back on the airwaves.

This is a disservice to the Capital by not opening the studio with all new state of the art equipment & structure.

Enough is enough! There's nothing to it, but to do it!

The Capital deserves to have a functioning Public Access, Educational and Governmental station. The funding is available and the heart of the citizens is beating. Act now.

The public good - i.e. the right of public, educational and government access, is the the most important issue here. Special interests and people on committees that impede progress or have conflicts of interest themselves are factors that should be given no consideration at all. Just the public good. To do less is to compromise the sanctity of public service of any official. Get the studio back open, get the channels on the air, and have all the government meetings recorded and regularly broadcast. Please! Maintaining healthy regional Public Access stations are vital, particularly now that local newspapers are vanishing, in assuring the democratic health of all communities. New York State needs to now to pay much more attention to this and support public access stations on viable manner similar to how the state of Massachusetts has supported its regional public access station.

The studio being closed as long as it has been has impaired the public's right to free speech and to record necessary shows for the public good.

5 months is way too long to have the Studio not available for the public's use. Please clear up the current issues as soon as possible.

Public access television is necessary and speaks directly to the people.

I spend summers on Cape Cod. The Public Access channels are excellent. Filled with public meetings and school events. Would love to see the channel be active and current. I support this petition. Try to get some kind of business sponsor. FM Public stations do it.
