The airplane noise has gotten out of control. I've lived near Anza and Calle Mayor for 16 years and have never seen it this bad. I work from home but have to keep the windows closed to hear my conference calls. What happened?

Increased flights and aircraft flying closer to my home causing:
>more aircraft noise from the Torrance Municipal Airport (TOA)
>exposure to leaded aviation fuel that jeopardizes health
>City needs to enforcing the Torrance Municipal Code 51.2.3 (e), put in place in the 1950s to protect residents from disruptive aircraft noise:
Torrance Municipal Code 51.2.3 (e): “Aircraft taking off to the west shall not turn left until they have either reached the ocean or attained an altitude of fifteen hundred (1,500) feet.” (Not doing so is referred to as “an early-left”.)
>Increase in flight schools to 7, now 60% of TOA’s operations
>need to impose landing fee needed
>declining property values as residents leave, or won’t buy, to escape these issues

This is an increasing safety issue due low altitude as the pilots turn too early over the peninsula when departing Torrance Airport, in addition to the improper noise pollution.
