We have lived on the border of Torrance for 13 years. Over the last 5 years the noise from the airplanes, jets and helicopters have increased dramatically.

The airport noise is terrible & has progressively gotten out of control. Flight schools are the main offenders f noise, failure to turn, low flight patterns, extreme noise levels

My husband suffers from trigeminal neuralgia, and he extremely suffers when the plane comes back every 5-10 minutes or so for (maybe) 30 minutes.

I live in the Skyline Mobile Home Park on Pacific Coast Hwy. On a daily basis I can hear airplane engines sputtering as if they were going to stall as they decend into the runway glidepath. It can be scary sometimes as they sound like they are going to crash. It is inevidable that one day that one will crash.

The airplane noise has gotten worse over the past few years and has become completely unacceptable. I am unable to carry a conversation inside of my own house when airplanes are circling above. I'm a physician and need to be able to have phone conversations with my patients while I'm at home. This has been extremely disruptive and disturbing. It gets excessively loud and seems like we live under a flight path. People have asked if I'm at the airport while I'm in my house! Totally unacceptable.

I am unable to hear anything on my conference calls throughout the day due to loud airplanes circling above. I work from home and the noise is completely unacceptable. It's been getting worse and is extremely disruptive and disturbing.

Several times a day, low flying planes go over my house causing all conversations to stop until they have passed which is unacceptable. The “touch & go” practice makes it impossible to enjoy the outside as the plane comes every 8-10 min and even more frequent when there are multiple students doing it in the same timeframe. I am aware that several other local airports have stopped the “touch & go” practice due to resident complaints.

The air crafts are now flying over our area more than last year. It used to be more one weekend, now, it happens everyday. Noise are so loud, please reduce the flights in the air.
