Some pilots don’t comply with voluntary recommendations and the City has limited powers of enforcement. However, the City owns the airport and it does have control over the airport itself. The City needs to identify ways it can use its authority to reduce negative environmental impacts. All of the City's options should be put on the table for consideration.

The City needs to manage its airport more effectively. By not enforcing long-standing laws, the City is creating multiple negative impacts on residents.
