My husband and I have experienced the same increasing noise issues from the planes from Torrance Airport. This is disturbing and disruptive that the planes are not being maintained properly nor is any agency/committee/department overseeing the noise issue. We live in Torrance Heights. Please hear the voices of your constituents and work with us to reduce and mitigate this increasing noise issue. It is affecting the quality of life in our city.

My wife and I live on Via El Chico in the Lower Riviera and our quality of life has been dramatically impacted by the increase in aircraft traffic over our neighborhood. City Council and Mayor, protect the quality of life for the residents and take the actions requested in this petition.

The training flights circling over our house have increased in frequency and volume over the past several years. Most days we can't sit in the backyard, and are forced to keep our double-glazed windows shut, although it's still quite noisy indoors. I don't mind occasional take-offs and landings, but hearing this during most daytime hours every few minutes is unacceptable. There are many ways to mitigate the noise and environmental hazards, including reducing or eliminating training flights, increasing fees, including for take-off and landing, and better monitoring and enforcement of reasonable noise levels. This can all be paid for by user fees, without any cost to the city.

We are right under their landing flight path. There are days when it's one right after the other. Don't mind a few now and then, but there are so many and getting louder and louder. not right. We do not benefit from any taxes or revenues Torrance collect. Air planes are so loud that we no longer have any peace and quiet in the backyard or even inside. Devalues the properties of of our beautiful neighborhood.

Please! Stop these planes going over the area of Western/PCH at 0-2 minute intervals! We can hear them everywhere, even inside the house all day long from 8am to 8 pm. We can’t even enjoy lunch or dinner outside or even being in our yard.

Stop the noisy plane over our yards. Even on the weekends when they think no one is monitoring, these pilots take advantage of more frequent flights and lower levels.

We live in the take-off path for jets. The noise I’d unacceptable. Jet take offs did not occur when we purchased our home.

I do not want the airport shutdown, but am hopeful that our city can control the constant noise and increased flights over our home every 2 to 3 minutes from flight schools. I have been tracking them on Flighttracker app. Also, pilots buzzing homes at 7:30 am. It has gotten totally out of control and has affected our lives in negative ways and is going to start affecting our property values,
