This petition is aimed at lowering the pay rate of the men and women in congress to minimum wage. The idea is that if government officials were paid the way a good percentage of Americans are, it would help them understand what is really happening economically. This reduction would also cut government spending on over-paid politicians. Hopefully it will get congress back to work.
