RCC brings nothing but good for our community. This scheme would aid them to do even more in the future.

Time for me to put rivalries on the pitch aside. This is about the next generation.

There's no reason to block this plan. Both the cricket and football clubs are important members of the community and to put their futures at riskis irresponsible on the part of the council.

Paul if that's the case and you are on Twitter, could you ask this of @PeterReeve. It would be interesting to hear his response.

The town council posted a questionnaire through my letter box asking for my opinion .i voted in favour but the form was not collected and so my views were not taken into consideration . Am I the only one?

The development of both the Cricket Club and new access to the ground not only allows the build of 4 modern houses but also improves safety for Club senior and junior members. The massive safety improvements will benefit the 2 Clubs [Cricket and Football] and sports field access for cars and pedestrian visitors from Home & Away Clubs. The current access road is a blind access off cricket field lane, to cars thoroughfare both enterring and exiting the Cricket Club. This access also requires a great deal of management due to the tight turn into Ramsey Cricket Club cutting up the existing hardcore which remains and continues to be an eyesore as potholes continually get cut as it is so tight for cars. The new access road will allow the new propertys to be self contained and have an open view over sports facilities donated in years past to the Community by Lord De Ramsey; for the benefit of all. Notwithstanding the benefits to the Community with improvements through new houses with new build standards and new buildings in an area which will benefit the Community as a whole. i HOPE THE LOCAL HOUSE RESIDENTS CAN COME TO SUPPORT THIS DEVELOPMENT, AS IT WILL IMPROVE SECURITY for their houses to. The new houses front aspect views will overlook a superb grass field whilst watching sport and Juniors enjoying our Cricket Club.

I am the Treasurer of Ramsey Cricket Club. The club has been struggling financially for many years due to the mortgage that was taken out when the old Pavilion was burned down. It is essential that the sale of the development land goes ahead in order to preserve the future of the club at Cricketfield Lane. I ask for everyone to support the request for access so we and future generations can benefit from having a local cricket club.
