Both of these homes are substantially larger than any homes in the immediate area and are out of character for the neighborhood. They may set a precedent for even huger home construction in the future.
Our homeowners association exists in part to protect our canyon views. These two homes will detract from the natural canyon views that currently exist and will negatively impact the property value of our home at 1081 Palisair.

I completely agree that these homes are excessive in size, are interfering with the ocean and canyon views of neighboring properties, and are out of scale and character with the existing homes in the immediate area. I think these homes will negatively impact quality of life and property values on Palisair Place.

Our ocean view was stolen by a new build a few years back. Happy to sign and be a part of the mission to protect these views!

Our views are protected under the CC&R’s. We need our PHOA to uphold the CC&R’s in every respect.

We believe it is important to maintain the HOA CC&R's and protect the views of both ocean and canyon for the surrounding homes.

In addition to the precedent and tradition of protecting canyon and ocean views, it is the solemn DUTY of the board members of the PHOA to do so, without bias or prejudice. The CC&Rs, which all who purchase lots within our HOA sign in acknowledgement and agreement, specifically empower and require the board members to protect ocean and canyon views. Not to do so is dereliction of duty, and may be grounds for recall.

We believe, in general, property owners should have wide latitude in the design of their home or remodel. However, in Palisair, the CC&Rs clearly intend that latitude to end where it interferes with a neighbor's view.

We are extremely disappointed the HOA has allowed these structures to be approved.
When we did our 2 remodels 2001-2010 we met the CC&Rs. Now the board is out of control.

I am very concerned about the view blockage and these monstrosity homes being built, which is very out of the character for the neighborhood over the years we have already lost the entire view to the west of two bedrooms that once had ocean and Mountain views.

Let's keep our Precious small town feel of the Palisades as beautiful and natural as possible for as long as possible.
