The range and service is unmatched by any high street store, it is a life line for students and budget shouldn't be a factor in education.

It's disgusting that the university have several cafes that aren't needed, yet they shut the bookshop and now plan on shutting the art shop too? If you want to cut some costs, maybe you should stop building new sodding cafes! We students need somewhere to go for our supplies!

An incredibly short sighted move. This can only have a huge impact on students work and time to make work. New supplies can be needed daily, and the studios do not provide enough lockBle storage to keep everything needed to hand. Course results will suffer - therefore the entire faculty of arts will suffer. This is ignoring the long term impacts.

I use the shop regularly and wouldn't know where else to source some of the materials I use, at such short notice too.
