The Oconee County Council passed the resolution to protect our constitutional rights today. I am deeply relieved to see our local leaders step up to defend the Second Amendment for our community. We need to stay vigilant to ensure these protections remain firmly in place for our families and neighbors.

I have been meeting with local officials to discuss how our homes and our rights stay protected from reach that goes beyond the law. The silence from the council is frustrating but it only reinforces why we must keep pushing for this resolution.

Seeing one hundred people sign this shows I am not the only one in Oconee County worried about our rights being eroded. This is a powerful start to protecting our community from federal overreach.

If we let them take our guns we can't protect our home and family .plus guns provide food for our children to eat.
You can ask any person in law enforcement and they will say and I have heard them say it on a regular base to people within county to protect urself until they can get there!!!!! So breaking 2nd amendment would not allow you too protect urself!!!! Stand ur ground on constitution!!!! Amen
I dont want the government to take our rights to defend our selves and families. I also ask for south carolina to become a constitutional carry state
If you change one thing in our Constitution then nothing in our Constitution will mean anything. More people get killed by others driving drunk and on drugs but you dont take our cars just cuz there are dumn people, so you cant take our 2nd amendment from our constitution that states it will not be Infringed on

The Constitution is our protection from an overbearing government. It's time to remind them of that.
