Our property adjoins the Ranch Lease and it has always been well cared for and irrigated. Since DWP terminated this lease, they've discontinued the irrigation and the grasses and trees are dying. This not only creates a fire hazard for Brewery St residents but it has also affected the birds and other wildlife who found sanctuary there. No matter what DWP tries to portray through the media, they don't give a damn about the Owens Valley except for the water.

This property is Lone Pine history and has been taken care of by the Ruiz family for over 3 generations.

First water, now land. Will DWP every stop bullying the residents of the Owens Valley? Clearly the statements LADWP makes to the media insinuating that relations with Owens Valley residents are on the up and up come from their forked tongue.

I've known 3 generations of this family. They are very serious about the care and stewardship of this property. LA, behave. You've taken enough from the Owens Valley.

I know this family well and DWP would be lucky to keep them as leasie's Joe worked his whole life for DWP and his family deserve a chance.

Policy becomes precedent.....! Clearly DWP doesn't need more revenue, so other than bullying the local folks, there is NO justification for this change.

Let's work together to support this family, the ranch and this community. We love our valley, lets keep the people who have helped build it, here!

Do the right thing, let the family that has used the lease for many, many years continue to use the land. This family has been in the Lone Pine area for decades.

I hope the family can continue their lease.
