in my sons class the english portion was not covered and they dont even have enough time to study for the PT1. This is ridiculous, they are also humans and need a break. And they talk about giving strees free sessions to students. As if they are not giving lot of stress and when good results come they take responsibility and credit as if they are the only one responsible for those results.

In my sons class english portion has not been completed and now the teachers are telling to do self study ?, this is absolutely ridiculous to see how irresponsible the school is . I mean seriously first of all the kids have not got the most needed break and on top of that the school decides to open the school and keep exams too , this is just insane. Have they lost their minds , they want to expose our kids to the deadly pandemic where already millions of people have lost their lives. As a responsible parent i can now see how much actually the school cares and there is no doubt that the school has taken complete advantage even from the deadly pandemic , this is just not fair enough. I will surely approach the KHDA and any of the medias , if things are not set right back . Also IHS remember that you cannot snatch that much deserved break from our kids .

I humbly request IHS Group of Schools to kindly postpone 10th PT-1 exams for the following reasons: -
1. Since March, we have not been given a break from this hectic schedule.
2. It is difficult to complete all assignments and to prepare for PT-1 in just two weeks.
3. Two weeks are not at all enough for preparing for PT-1 as these exams affect our academic marks and thereby our future will be at stake.

Very bad decision from ihs to conduct exams in August.. We have been having continuous school from March and there were only 2 - 3 days holidays for eid holidays(as I am a Muslim, eid holidays cannot be utilised for studying as we celebrate in those days).. And cbse has also reduced portion to help us.. And the worst thing to happen was to have schools in summer vacation and ihs was the only cbse school in dubai to have schools for 10th and 12th.. And these classes are not even revision, they are taking new portions everyday.. I'm sure there were many people, including me who had planned to study alot for the upcoming exams but because of online classes we don't get any time to study or do any extra-curricular activities.. Plus we have many assignments to submit as well.. So it's a big request from me to not have exams in August and postpone it to september

My daughter is in 10 th grade and she was continuously studying from march until now. We were expecting a break now and all of a sudden school has announced PT1 exams from August 23 onwards. We already got a 30 % cut in syllables as well. Why cant school authorities postpone the exams to september and give a well deserved break for all kids. I am scared that they wont be able to perform well for the main exam in march if school put pressure like this.
Please understand the kids

I am very much unhappy with the decision taken by Indian High School and this puts a lot pressure on the students as they are already in 10th grade and this will adversely affect their mental health.....The school needs to reconsider their decision by keeping the exams in the month of September with appropriate breaks between the 80 marks exams.

This again is a very bad step taken by ihs , lately the school management is taking useless decisions , Will approach the media if this decision is not revised , i dodnt want to put my childs health at stake . To be frank IHS does not deserve any ratings from the khda or any other organisations .

Plz give is more time to prepare for the exams we need a break to revise in our own pase and also go through the projects as it contains a good weightage for our boards .We are just asking for a one week extension so that we can spend a little more time in our revision.

School should postpone the exam and give proper break for studies. In-between exams also there should be minimum 2 days break for revision. online education should continue.

children didn't got quality time to relax and there should be a healthy and peaceful environment while giving exams and in current scenario its not good for kids. Its risky and treatment or isolation and quarantine is not the solution. When we all know that there are chances and at risk we are doing this then sorry to say and I sincerely apologise kids are not trial pack. We elders can take precautions but not kids agree they are 10th graders but when it comes to school and meeting friends they become super excited.
So humble request to postpone the exams and opening of school.
