Petition to Postpone the HipHop Tamizha Concert on March 1st, 2025

Dear Organizers,
I am writing this petition on behalf of my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters in Singapore, as well as myself, to kindly request the postponement of the HipHop Tamizha concert scheduled for March 1st, 2025
As you may be aware, the concert date falls during the holy month of Ramadan, a sacred time of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims. During this period, we fast from dawn until sunset and break our fast (Iftar) in the evening. Following Iftar, Muslims perform nightly Taraweeh prayers, which are a special and significant act of worship unique to Ramadan.
Attending the concert on March 1st would present significant challenges for Muslim attendees, as breaking our fast during the concert would be inconvenient and inappropriate. Additionally, we would miss the opportunity to fulfill our religious obligation to perform the Taraweeh prayers.
Singapore is a vibrant, multicultural society that values diversity and mutual respect among its people. In this spirit, I hope the concert organizers can be considerate of the needs of the Muslim community. I would like to humbly propose rescheduling the concert to a date after Ramadan, perhaps in April, when fasting month concludes on March 31st.
I also wish to address any potential concerns regarding Muslims attending a concert. For many of us, music and entertainment are simply a form of enjoyment, as long as they align with our values and do not cross religious boundaries. HipHop Tamizha has a significant fan base among Indian Muslims in Singapore, and it would be disheartening for us to miss this concert due to the constraints of Ramadan.
This request is made sincerely, with respect for all communities and a hope that it will allow all fans to enjoy the concert without compromising their religious obligations.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration of this matter. I hope actions can be taken to accommodate this request, and I look forward to hearing a positive response.

Make it 23 march or 22 march as first march is Ramadan and many muslims won’t be able to make it
Hi maestro. Can you consider changing the date for HHT concert. The date you have set for the concert is the first day of fasting for the Muslim people and we wouldn't be able to make it. Can you shift the date to one week earlier instead. Thank you

I believe we are all big great fans of HHT and we all love his songs and him with all our heart! Be it whatever it is I would love for the date to be postponed only for more fans to be present and enjoy him! And we are all not going for a concert for free we all are willing to pay the price just to hear him and see him from that distance and be with him throughout the concert just supporting him and I doubt by changing the date of the concert will affect anything but just benefit everyone and himself more cause his fans are really looking forward to see him! Even tho I'm not Muslim be it wtv the race wtv the color wtv the language we all speak! Music connects everyone together! As tho Chinese don't vibe to tamil music haha please la come on! Every race in this world celebrates tamil and even if They can't understand the lyrics just the music is enough to make anyone move that's how powerful we are tgt! So let's all hope this works for the better! really hope u guys can change the date... march 1st is definitely not good for us muslims. would love to see them but cant if it clashes with taraweeh prayers. pls consider shifting it!
