Petition to postpone the EE deadline

My extendeding the EE deadline it will improve our Mocks and our predicted grades aswell as improve out EE grade by having more time to focus on it

We as students should be striving for the best grade, not for handing over something mediocre, just because of unofficial deadlines!

For the sake of everyone’s IB grades, it would be of very benifitial if the deadline was postponed to at least a couple more weeks

As this term is full with a substantial amount of assignments like our IAs, Written Tasks and university applications, I recommend that the deadline for the EE should be postponed.

All of us have a lot of other work to complete like Math IA, College personal statements, TOK presentation and studying for the upcoming mocks.I also believe that for most chemistry students, this is especially stressful as the upcoming Mock grades will determine all our IB1 grades and our predicted grade. I can see how postponing the ee deadline will actually relive a lot of stress for all the students. If the school truly wants to help alleviate our stress postponing this big deadline for the ee will go a long way

I have just moved to a new house and everything is very disorganized. I have no internet and it is unclear when it will return. A postponed date will help me amnesty.

It isn’t due till much later and we have so many upcoming more relevant deadlines and we would score and do better if we had extra time.

An extension would help a lot, like a lot

I understand that you're trying to get the ee out of the way but if the deadline doesn't get extended then I won't actually HAVE an ee to "get out of the way"

I believe as the school is sending out the EE’s on March we should be afforded more time in order to focus on the mocks and our IA’s

I believe that students should have adequent time to work on their EEs to get the best grade possible for their futures. I see no reason why the due date set on the last days of September helps students achieve that. Seeing as the date of submission set by the IBO is early next year. I understand that the IBO encourages schools & institutions to set their own dates of submissions, however, I feel strongly that giving us students maybe an extra month just to polish up our essay would be really benifitial in turns of improving our final IB grades. It would help to have more time to work on my Ee with my new (to our system) supervisor. Including the fact I need to work on it alot. Having some extra time would be useful and really helpful. Thank you :)

I think that having a deadline that's too soon will cause stress to many people as the EE plays a huge role on the IB program. This stress can not only affect our EE's quality but the quality of the other assignments we have due. The deadline is making me use up all the time I have for my physics, chemistry, business tests and my math IA which is due soon as well. I think extending the deadline by a bit will provide the students with a more balanced schedule and increase the overall EE qualities

My schedule does Not match my supervisor so our non contact periods aren’t in sync and he is always so busy. It is difficult arranging these meetings with him his year so getting feedback is taking longer than expected so I need more time to work on The feedback

Last year the IB2's were given till January. Since we are in better place currently there is no need to rush us to complete it. The more time we have the better the result will most likely be. Delaying the deadline allows us to work on our EE day by day. If we try and do it by end September it adds unnecessary stress on us and that can effect our mocks and other grades, when they matter the most. Furthermore, it doesnt give us a chance to produce the best EE we can. In my case I had to change my EE completly for the second draft and now trying to fix those mistakes in less than 16 days is impossiable considering we have to study for mocks, focus on our TOK presentation, study for multiple tests and complete multiple IA's during the same month.

my Supervisor didn’t give me any feedback yet and we have too many deadlines and mocks coming up. We have plenty of time for ee and I see that this deadline is too close
