Petition to postpone demolition works in the Zebbug Pulic Library

The noise and dust are gonna be way too much for the little ones. Just wait until school is out, it is only a few weeks away.

Would like to voice my concern on safety for the kids during the construction project. Can this be done in during the summer months?

Please pospone the works immediately especially when works are being carried out adjacent to our children’s classrooms and toilets. Although you have all necessary documents in hand, one must consider also the health and safety of the childen and school staff. How can they learn and concentrate at school when adjacent/few meters away there’s a construction site. I spoke to the Mayor and he affirmed that no excavation was being done apart for the foundations and that the demolition of the existing library roof slab shall commence after the first week of June. However, postponing the works for two weeks untill end of June is not a big deal. Thanks

STOP THE WORKS NOW! Why risk anything when the kids are still there? Do it in summer!

We cannot put our children in any risk.. Soon they will finish school ,
