“We the people who have attached herewith our signatures do reject any further modifications or amendments to the already flawed, improper, presently ill-defined and constitutionally fraught Firearm Control Act of 2000. We further object to the Ruling Party's attack on a law-abiding minority by the passing of ill conceived and Draconian restrictions against legal firearm owners under the guise of Crime Control.”

Micro-dotting a gun with a serial nr STAMPED into it is a waste, as is the idea that ballistic sampling is the way to go when we do not have the expertise and logistical knowhowe and structures in place. How many TYHINKERS do you need to sort out the problem of illegal guns on the streets and in the hands of CRIMINALS! - I volunteer!

The latest revelation of police complicity in the sale of surrendered guns to criminals proves that guns are indeed safer in the hands of law abiding citizens.

A law is words that prevent law-abiding citizens from doing heinous acts, it never stopped a criminal before and it will not all of a sudden stop a criminal now. The FCA/2000 should be informative to firearm owners of what you may do and what you may not do, not restrictive in the sense that you may not have this and getting this is now 10 times more difficult.

The expense of such changes would massively detract from the public safety role of the SAPS. There are vastly more efficient and effective uses of the taxpayers' money.

Not needed. Start by policing the state. They are the greatest contributors to the illeagle firearms in circulation. Legal firearmowners only contribute 0,07% to crime. Why are you alway targeting us?

Gun control is like trying to reduce Drunk driving by making it tougher for Sober people to own Cars.

This is just preventing us from defending ourselves against the criminals... The police can't be everywhere all the time
