We need to address school capacity and infrastructure first.

I'm not against growth or progress but how about we improve the infrastructure to support all of the new people first.

Please do not sell to a developer. The back roads cannot handle more traffic.

I oppose the rezoning of 10105 E Copeland Rd. The recommended rezoning would have a significant negative impact on the community.

We don't need more subdivisions. We need a new school to hold all the students in the community that are in overcrowded schools with tons of portables like Copper Ridge, Adrian Burnett, and Powell Elementary.

Please Turn out to the planning commission meeting in the city County building at 1:30 on Thursday. It is absolutely critical that we have a lot of support in person to try to fight this matter! Please please please make time for this in your schedules! We are all busy but this will affect the rest of our lives in our Powell community.

We are struggling now to just get home from work. I can't imagine another 400 homes here . That would mean another at least 400 more cars on small country roads. We don't have the resources for this much more traffic.

Current Infrastructure/Schools/Utilities can not handle this rezoning.

Schools can’t handle it Utilities can’t handle it Roads can’t handle it Let the builder/developer pay for everything needed so current taxpayers don’t have to foot the bill. Hallandale Powell will need a rate increase to pay for bigger water lines and sewers, KUB will need a rate hike to cover new power lines. Kids are already going to school in outdoor building because of overcrowding and Emory road is a mess every morning and evening. Make them pay up front before one House is built!

Our roads are overcrowded now. We have no lines in middle of road to divide lanes. We get traffic from Emory road and almost everyone speeds speed limit is 25 mph. No one in county is doing anything about road.

Copeland Road is already a death-trap with its blind curves/hills due to it being a single lane road not having lane divisions for traffic. Copeland Road now has become the favorite bypass to avoid the Emory Road debacle close to I75 exchange. To approve this subdivision without showing due diligence in making safety improvements to adjacent roads to safely address the increased traffic would be negligent and show culpability on the part of the Commissioners..

This area can not support more mass subdivisions. Copeland Road is no more than a glorified wagon trail as it is. 400 + homes would be a disaster for this area. I VOTE NO!!!

Please consider the burden on our schools that are not prepared for the additional 400 families. Five homes per acres is out of character with this area. One home per 2-5 acres would be more feasible. Our side roads are narrow and Emory road is already congested at peak times. Our infrastructure is not adequate for the addition of 400 families.

Pedigo road is already overloaded with traffic. The intersection of Emory Rd and Pedigo is extremely dangerous. now. This is going to put us and our loved ones in more danger every single day.
