Petition to Oppose Sidewalks on Edgcumbe Road

I fear the cost of the new sidewalk and the damage to our front yard i.e., lawn sprinklers, removing beautiful trees.

I am firmly opposed to the Edgcumbe sidewalk continuation work.

Please do not destroy our trees and character of our neighborhood. There are many more important needs in the City of Saint Paul.

This project will destroy many trees, grass and shrubs that pull CO2 from the atmosphere and creates impervious surfaces leading to more storm water runoff. 1480 Edgcumbe Road

Please save our trees and green spaces! Hundreds of years of tree growth would be wiped out with this project.

I was taught that we the people, elected officials, to act on the wants and needs of the people. This project doesn’t fit that definition. Please refrain from this waste of tax $’s and reallocate the funds to the much needed 7 million and counting Ayd Mill Rd bike lanes for the underwhelming minority of bikers to enjoy for half of the year

Sidewalks have never been needed on this street. Support using the money on other areas that are needed like the huge pot holes everywhere.
