I totally agree to the signing of such a petition because many of us were unaware of such an exercise and if ignorance on our part should attract a penalty, I believe a sum of 20 cedis being taken from such a huge number of students is rather too much, hence this matter should be thoroughly looked into. Students should also be made aware of what exactly the monies being collected will be used for.

This is so unfair, i think this is just a ploy by the hall administration to enrich themselves.

The fine isn’t justified. The hall management must be made to review this decision

The clean up exercise was indeed late announced. Some members had exams that morning too. I was fully dressed and on my way to meet my mother at a function before I heard of the clean up. Imagine the inconvenience.

Students if we like or not are equally busy people and may not have time to be part of this. Also the fine imposed seems to be of making more money for the authorities if you ask me

I never heard of any clean up only to be fined for not taking part. Something I don't know of.
