Hello, we are a group of students from Wy'east Middle School in Vancouver, WA and we're working to improve our and everyone else's education. The purpose of this petition is for keeping the three main classroom types separate. The following school year the evergreen district is splitting the classes into cluster groups in the following school year. Meaning students from general education, excelerated learning and special education are being combined. We believe this will be problematic because of the many different paces and strategies all these different learners use.

Excelerated students - First of all, they need a special teacher who has experience handling fast learners which according to our district won't be provided. Lastly, if their being taught at a general education level they won't be as far as they would if they we're in a traditional excelerated classroom and rather than getting the fast speed that they need they'll just be getting a lot of work for something they learned the last year.

Special education - Just like excelerated students they need a special teacher who knows how to properly take care of and teach special education students.

General education - With all of these changes it's just going to distract the average student from their studies.
