Isn't the first task of government to protect its citizens? Islam does not assimilate and the Syrians can't be trusted as they have no records. How pathetically stupid is this governor!

If the treasury has that big of a surplus that we can support these people then why don't we house the homeless or lower the taxes then instead of leaving the state you may attract people and business development. If governor Dayton doesn't want to listen to the citizens of Minnesota maybe he should leave.

No Syrian's until they take care of our VETERANS!
No Syrians until they pass a lie detection process!!! The terrorists are too prevelant, young health males. And so FEW CHRISTIANS!! Who is your GOD, GOV. MARK DAYTON???

You lock your doors because you love those on the inside, not because you hate those on the outside. Our safety is important and there are other ways to help the refugees.

The cultural clash is significant. My wife works at our local HRA to help people get assistance for housing & the things that happen in that office since people of that culture have started to coming to Central Minnesota are very disturbing. She used to go to work & feel a sense of accomplishment plus, feel good she was able to help people out. Now that office is looking to invest in bulletproof glass & doors since the current majority of people applying for that assistance are "shifting" to our area. Most don't even want to live here but, are being told they must (by people in their clan) because we are in an area that has a short waiting list for those benefits. They don't come into that office with hard luck stories looking for help or a way out! They come in there DEMANDING assistance & if they don't like what they hear they turn it in as discrimination & drag their case through the legal system further depleting the resources available for those in need. They are systematically coming here & depleting resources however possible! Everyone talks privately about how terrible it is but, won't say anything publically out of fear of being labeld, sued, or targeted. The real crime here is the fact that everyone is so fearful of enforcing the rules, regulations, & laws that everyone that has lived here their whole lives understands, respects, & has enforced upon them. If these people would come here respect us, appreciate what we are offering, follow & understand our laws, rules, & regulations I would be happy to see them become part of our society but, as it is now, I literally have to fear for my wife's safety as she goes to work everyday to try & "help" people! Wake up! These people don't care about us, most are very rude, demanding, threatening, and a huge financial drain on a system there to help people!
Don't even let me get started on the loopholes in the system & ways they try to bend situations to suit their purposes. If a local resident
