I moved here from Northern Virginia in 2017 and thought I'd left traffic congestion behind. The back-ups on 54 heading to I-40 in the late afternoon rival any I experienced in the DC Metro area!

I have spent too many late afternoons in traffic backed up for 45 to 60 min to drive the 2 miles from Meadowmont on 54 to my Falconbridge home. Please study this intersection and help with some of the worst traffic back-ups in Chapel Hill/SW Durham. Thanks.

The people making u-turns at the light are also a problem

This is an extremely dangerous intersection, with way too many accidents--it needs some intervention to prevent more of these. Thank you.
