Unfortunately, the neighborhood of Falconbridge has had a front-row seat for the many serious accidents that occur on Eastbound NC 54, near the intersection with Huntingridge Rd, especially during the evening rush hour. It sometimes seems that on a weekly basis we can hear the squeal of brakes and the sound of cars colliding.

By signing this petition we urge NC DOT to initiate an assessment of what factors contribute to this rash of accidents - and, more critically, to then take steps to remediate the situation.
