Name MHS Football Field in honor of Coach Preston Haley

Coach Hailey had an immediate lasting impact on the program and all the players at MHS. It was an honor to play for him during his first year -fall of 1978.

Many people think that my father, Preston Haley, was the greatest Coach on the football field. I believe he has been the greatest Coach off the field!

I can't think of anyone more deserving of this honor than Preston. He has my vote for sure.

He coached my brother, Kevin Nelson. He made a great impact on his life for great good. That's as much or even more important than his great coaching on the field. He influenced so many students to set and achieve lifetime successes.

Coach Haley is a legend! He CONSISTENTLY had high performing football teams and regular appearances at State!! Most impressive was having an undefeated season and taking State!! Naming the new field after Coach Haley would be an amazing way to honor such an outstanding coach through the years!
