Please allow students access their test results to be able to exercise in the field they got wrong. It’s not fair that we can’t see what we got right and wrong. It is our work and we have right to access our work. That’s at least human rights.

Inconsistencies in given material will only make us a bad nurse in the future

This program has been awful, if I knew I would have went to another nursing school.

I totally agree with this petition. As it clearly stated, even if we can’t review the exam as a group, we should have been able to review it one an one

This would be a wonderful tool to help personalize our study and know where are weaknesses are. The end goal is to be a nurse that would make KBCC proud. Going to college during a pandemic is hard enough without having to self teach and not know what you are teaching incorrectly.

This would be great! This is how we progress in our academic standing within the program.

As a current student in kbcc things are even worse then all I read. The faculty is cruel and do not prepare us for exams. More then half of us are failing and they blame us. If only a few failed ok but you cannot say 90% are not studying

The nursing department needs to recognize how much harm they inflict on students psychologically and financially.

I am more than happy with my current grades, but I would like to know what mistakes I make when they happen. Learning, testing and correcting mistakes is the definition of learning and should be upheld as such. I would like to be able to see where my mistakes are and what topics I need to concentrate on in order to improve my knowledge.

We must develop ways to support hard working CUNY students

The gate keepers are the problem.

I strongly believe the real problem are the gate keepers within this framework. With so many under staff and over work nurses in the hospitals one would think the process of becoming a nurse would not entails so many road blocks. We as students are working with time consumed in doing good. We are not treated as quality students who came a long way but are seem as not having the right skin color or having the right background. So our grades are abused by a system of injustice. It’s time we all took a stand and stand up for what is right and fight against this unfairness.

Beautifully said and mean a lot for those of us who are committing our time to become a part of the health care field. Our commitment is to care for the sick.

Please change this policy. I cannot improved as a student if I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I did really good on my psych exams especially final and score was so bad that I couldn’t believe it like for exam 1 I knew the questions I got wrong but for final I didn’t even know what I got wrong and I failed the class and now I am waiting on appeal to see if I will get approved but I don’t believe the score I got because in my Heart I know I did good but the professor refused to recheck the score and same with the president of nursing department. Now I am probably gonna be kicked out of the program. It’s so unfair.

They say we arent allowed to see our tests because they reuse test questions but is that really the reason? They have a very high Nclex pass rate possibly because they fail students who they dont think would pass the Nclex exam. That could be why we arent allowed to see our tests, the administration "cooks the books" to ensure they continue to have a high Nclex pass rate.

The Nursing facility at kbcc have already heard all this many times and have done nothing. Flat out they don't care about the students, Professor Weeks (head of the department) yelled at a student "thats not my problem" when the student was explaining an issue she was having with the lab. They will continue to do nothing until this matter is brought to the attention of the president of KBCC and/or brought to the attention of the nursing accreditation board.

The school’s leadership should realize that many of its students are also essential workers with part time jobs. Without acting you are part of an institution creating preconditions for failure of many Black students in which by not acting you are part of the problem that they cannot and will not be accepted for additional educational degrees. You cannot walk away from your responsibility and being a quiet party to an ongoing injustice. The press needs to become aware of these preconditions for Black and other struggling student failure
