We have lived on Callae Derive since 2006. We are on the school bus route. The roads are getting so bad with ruts that only get dirt tossed on them a couple times a year, never leveled out. That lasts, maybe three days, then the ruts are back damaging vehicles. They horribly icy during the winter. Paving needs to be done and maintained, and the roads needs to be plowed and sanded earlier than 8AM!!

Paving is greatly needed, continuing to fix the washboarded roads every 2 months is not a good solution.

Seems like a waste of time and money to keep resurfacing the road and have the washboards and potholes return a short time later. Paving would make the roads safer and last longer.

Please pave Elsie Road, you are constantly having to grade the street l. If it was paved, it would save you the expense of all the grading charges. Thank you!

I have witnessed many an accident near our house at 13031 Callae Dr from vehicles sliding off the road in the winter including the school bus on several occasions

Grading and laying down more loose stone does not provide a better driving surface. Mere days after the washboard is graded and re-stoned it returns. Guanella Pass Rd has been paved for similar reasons. The loose stone is quickly displaced to the shoulders and presents a poor braking surface when deer pop out from the shadows, particularly in low light conditions

Washboard on Callae curves is dangerous. Cars drive on wrong side of road to avoid as much as possible.

The danger is real. The ongoing damage to my car is real (alignments, shocks, tires). The fact that it's just a matter of time before someone's hurt is very real. I've had to drive so slow due to the washboards that one time someone gently passed me (they were also going slow), got in front of me just a bit, stopped, put their car in reverse to roll up next to me to ask if I was okay. It's crazy.

Callae Dr is Dangerous! Even after the grader comes out there is so much loose rock on the road that at 20 mph i have slid at the bottom of "death hill". It is hard to know the road is even paved because it is a washboard to the point where i have had to take my 2016 Subaru in twice already to get an alignment. "Death hill" is where the school buses keep getting stuck. There is a blind hairpin at the top that is so tight that moving vans have trouble getting around it using both lanes. Once my family rounded it coming down only to find 4 other cars stuck, slowly sliding into the school bus that was stuck across both lanes at the bottom. One guy in a service truck was trying to back up around the blind bend. There isn't enough room to turn around. Just a matter of time before someone, probably a kid, gets killed and you"ll get sued.

The washboards have become more severe and dangerous in the 2.5 years that we have lived on Callae Drive. I sometimes find that washboards have already re-formed following grading before I have driven even once. It seems that paving would provide for a better business case. Motorcyclists such as myself are put in even greater danger. Also, the life of tires and vehicles is severely shortened.

All that time and money last year to resurface the road and it is just as bad as ever on Callae. Pave it and be done with it. Paving would make it safer, less dust and less wear and tear on the cars.

The school bus even has trouble driving on these roads...gotten stuck on Callae at least. Dangerous for our children as well as adults.
