My university is mandating masks and physical distancing for everyone, all the time, on campus. It's a huge relief because these measures DO keep people safer and DO save lives.

With our numbers peaking here in NWA, and with the prospect of 30K students arriving here in several weeks, not only from Arkansas but from states like Texas and Oklahoma whose numbers are peaking as well, mandating masks is the only sensible move. Not to mention the growing list of universities who have already taken this step. I support this 100%.

As an individual w hypertension I am at an increased risk for many of the more severe symptoms of COVID19. Mandatory masks would add another layer of protection for me as a student and instructor.
