With the recent Government budget cuts in Education, Lethbridge College has made the decision to suspend intake for the Fashion Design and Marketing Diploma program for the 2013-­‐2014 school year. This decision has affected the students who recently completed the first year Certificate portion of the program. These students had just recently received acceptance letters into the Diploma program for next year and since then this option has been revoked. Much time, money, and efforts have been invested by these students with the expectation that they could carry on to the second year of the program.   We, the undersigned, feel that this decision should be reversed, allowing these students the opportunity to complete their diploma at Lethbridge College the way it was intended just a few short weeks ago.
