We, the undersigned residents and riders, respectfully petition for the legalization and proper regulation of electric motorbikes, commonly known as “Emotos.” These vehicles provide a clean, quiet, and efficient mode of transportation that supports California’s environmental and sustainability goals. Despite their safety and practicality, Emotos currently face unclear classification and registration barriers, leaving responsible riders without a lawful path to use them. Legalizing Emotos will promote green innovation, reduce emissions, and give citizens access to a safe, affordable, and modern transportation option. Some people are just trying to have fun. They are just like ebikes but we don't what pedals to differentiate us. Remember its the rider not the bike.
