A gentle reminder to be cautious when uniting with your sisters announcement would be much better solution rather than eliminating the tradition all together.

With much consideration I agree with the request to have bid day 2018 held in the traditional manner. With some creativity, a fresh spin and more time 2019 Bid day can be as exciting as the decades old traditional event. We appreciate the new conformities for safety concerns, however the late notification does not allow us enough time to create the same memorable welcome to your chosen Sorority.
Bid day has traditionally been the inaugural experience that creates the initial bond of a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime. We need time to create something as exciting to capture the time-honored tradition in an equally wonderful manor.
