This is absurd. Changing such an important UNCW tradition— and not doing so for the betterment of Greek life. This reduces such an important aspect of Greek life down to a bare minimum.

The excitement of bid day is something that the woman in our sorority communities look forward to every year. Changing this tradition is wrong. After all the hard work they put in they should be able to celebrate in the fun and exciting way that bid day has traditional been

Why would you kill a tradition that is so strong at this school. Keep Greek life together like we should be. We are stronger together and bid day deserves to be on the front lawn

Bid day on hoggard is a tradition! Woke up with a memory on my Facebook of four years ago today of standing on hoggard with my new sisters and could not help but smile. Taking away hoggard and costumes and not allowing fraternities to attend is a slap in the face to the Greek community. It is the one day all of Greek life comes together to welcome new girls and you will not be able to contain that excitement if you have it in trask. You have not experienced bid day here before so you have no idea what you are taking away.
