I live in an apartment complex and we don’t have a pool. So the community pool is the only pool available. Plus it’s a great access for everyone to enjoy.

This pool has been around for many young and old people in St.Marys to enjoy for leisure and sports. I think all this recognition recently will justify an increase attendance and an investment return for many years to come.

I grew up swimming there every summer and took my kids. It kept us out of trouble.
Lots of wonderful memories. Please don't turn your back on this piece of history and family fun. Its not just a pool, its community. The water park is awesome; but, honestly it is just not big enough to handle the population by its self.

I love having a neighborhood pool. I have really enjoyed being able to take the grandkids swimming daily for a reasonable price.

The pool is a nice calm place to relax and cool off. Not everyone wants all the activity of a water park as they try to relax.

What a travesty!Maybe you could use the money you collected last year for baseball, and put it towards repairs, since the kids didnt get to play and money wasn’t returned.

Everyone is not a fisherman nor can many afford going to Cumberland island... so a lot of the community can enjoy a local pool during the hot summer...!

The city pool was a huge part of my growing up as well as my family’s. Such precious memories of summer days with friends swimming! Riding our bikes from our homes and staying all day until it closed the gates. Our parents always knew where we were and that we were safe. Please don’t close down this treasure. I’m sure it still serves the families of St. Marys and brings just as much happiness as it did for all of us Baby Boomers so long ago!

We only have one pool in our community for people who can’t afford to live in nice places that have pools already. This is a community pool for everyone to come together. Don’t take away our pool.
