Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

No! You can't get rid of the message boards.

PLEASE Keep the IMDB discussion boards

Please don't take away the message boards! It has been a place for me to go and discuss movies with fellow fans. Please don't!

I looooove the message boards. Always read them after a great movie or TV show to get a perspective from other fans. Pleeaase don't shut down - there's nothing else like it on the internet

I agree with others that IF THE IMDB BOARDS GO AWAY, so will I FIND ANOTHER SOLUTION.... keep the boards up or I will boycott imdb on principle. I will delete the imdb.com link and never come again.

Nooo! The Message Boards are the reason I visit Imdb, to analyze and read others opinions on the film .

Mr. Needham, I see you are a fan of Shawshank Redemption. Well I "hope" these boards stay up.

I don't want a facebook account, or a twitter account or tumblr. I just use the message boards and are on them every day. I may not comment, but I go to see info and see what others think. I do not want to have to open another account on another social media. If the message boards go away, I will have no reason to come to IMDB at all....

I've always valued the opinions of fellow IMDb members on the message boards. I can't even begin to count how many wonderful movies I've found through message board posts and hours of my life saved from watching something I'd hate. I know that if the message boards are removed I will use your site far less often.

I become a member in January 2016. In that short time the IMDB message board has become my favorite site to visit on the entire Internet platform. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!!!!!!

Over the years, I've discovered how wonderful and entertaining this website is. It's given me, and many users the opportunity to discuss topics and to keep us updated on movies, celebrities, etc. With all due respect, I believe it is unfair to deny users the opportunity to enjoy the site by banning IMDB because of trolls. It's is my hope that authority can find a solution that prevents trolls from trashing the site without canceling it permanently. I do hope this cancelation is temporary!!

PLEASE PLEASE do not take away the message boards. I read them ALL the time. I watch a movie or show and wonder something and I go to the imdb board to see what other think. I ignore the trolls, I look for the info I want and skip over the nonsense. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE MESSAGE BOARDS DOWN

Please keep the message boards - I love coming to read about the various things I watch and the discussion involved. If there is something nasty written, I simply move on. The message boards are a major part of what makes IMDb great!

Please iMDB ! Do NOT remove the board. They are important source of content after watching a movie. You will suffer from this decision, you will lose a tons of members. I wont have any reason to go to imdb anymore... Please think again.

These boards are important, and there's no replacement for this invaluable wealth of information that goes back 15 years. I believe it's a public disservice to remove them with such short notice.

The only reason I really ever even visit IMDb is to read the messages board to get another take or interpretation of a movie. Without the message boards there is nothing on IMDb I can't find on Google so why use it?
