The message boards are part of the movie experience. I enjoy reading user comments/questions upon completing a film. This is a terrible decision!

Even preserving the high-traffic boards like "I Need to Know" (where I spend the majority of my time online) would be a saving grace.

This is completely ridiculous and insane, the boards are one of the best discussion places for movies online, even with all the trolls. I will not be using IMDb anymore if they do away with the boards, all the info they have there is on other sites, the boards are one of the most useful things on the site.

Please keep the message boards. While a lot of it was junk, there were often plenty of comments filled with worthwhile trivia and answers to various questions.

I am very upset about this decision, which came out of the blue and with no warning at all. Please don't shut down the boards; they're pretty much the only thing I use on IMDb and are the main way I get information about the shows I'm interested in.

I use the message boards daily, for plot points I don't quite get, information on obscure movies/tv shows/actors and actresses, and to see what others think about a particular show or movie. Living in an isolated area, your boards give me a life line to the world of film and television. Please don't take it away.

I an so dependent on the boards removie and tv choices . I think the withdrawal will be ugly, Seriously, please keep them up.

There are childish people who do nothing but argue and flame others, but there is more good than bad in the forums. It is the best source for information about actors, movies, and tv shows. There is no site that compares to it. To lose the IMDB forums is a huge, irreplaceable loss.

I've spent many years on this board, and yes, there are a lot of trolls on it, but that's the same with anything on the internet. Don't let them ruin things for the good/sensible people on the boards.

Please keep the message boards, I like reading them and having theories and opinions all in one place rather than spread out all over social media. I like hearing the opinions of people I don't know.
