I 'm a retail distribution graduate and working since 2007.
That's an awful business decision and your unwilligness to moderate properly a message board with all the resource of the world "supposed" - BIGGEST ONLINE RETAILER - (Haha) is pityful.
Next business move ; remove the possibility of amazon consumers to note what they buy, that will definitely be an upgrade. Or shut down your consumer help service too ! (Why not ?)
Your competitors like rotten tomatoes gladfully thank IMDB.
That's a sound business decision that will be studied in wharton, for sure !

Please keep the message boards open!!! Not only do I love reading and participating in this community, but as a filmmaker I think it's good to read discussions (yes, even with the trolls) on my films!

I could not believe tue announcement i saw today. I have been using those boards for years and have gotten help numerous times on recomendations, and watch order, etc. Very sad to see the boards go and that we are being abandoned to social media which i dont have many like-minded people on nor do i use hardly at all.

The message boards are the main reason I ever visit IMDB. Find a way to weed out the trolls but don't punish all of us.
