I have happily used all the features on IMDb since discovering it some years ago. It is my go to site for movie info. Part of that has, of course, been the message boards. There would be a real void if you remove the message boards. Please reconsider that decision. Don't let the "jerks" win, but stand up for those of us who respect the site and movies. Thank you for your consideration in this most important matter.

I learn tons of info from the boards that IMDB is seriously lacking! If you want to keep people informed, KEEP THE BOARDS!!!! It sounds like you IMDb owners just want to control WHAT info we learn...the info YOU think is necessary. WRONG!

I have been a member of IMDb and frequent user of the message boards for almost 10 years. I love interacting with others about my favorite television shows and films. I don't get to do that anywhere else with other such engaging members. Please do not shut down the message boards!

It's become a ritual at this point to check the imdb message boards for a particular film after having watched it. I love reading other people's thoughts and interpretations, and imdb is architected wonderfully for this purpose by having a dedicated space for each film. I will be truly saddened to see it go. Please don't let a few rotten people ruin something that has provided such fantastic insight and discussion on my journey into cinema.
