I grew up in Skowhegan and I have always been proud to be a Skowhegan Indian even though I no longer live there I think that we have done the native Americans proud why change a good thing

Skowhegan Indians is the way our town is and has always been known. Be proud of our town and keep the school name and mascot the way it has always been! Proud to of been a Skowhegan Indian and proud for my children to be Skowhegan Indian's as well!
